NAUSEA AND VOMITING

Nausea is the unpleasant sensation of being about to vomit. It can occur alone or can accompany vomiting.

Nausea and vomiting are typically symptoms of a disease or condition such as food poisoning, infection, pregnancy, stomach problems, diabetes or medication. It is important to control nausea and vomiting to prevent severe dehydration 



Our Treatment: We prescribe anti-nausea medications such as Ondansetron, Phenergan, or Reglan


Important: Our prescriptions will help control your symptoms, however, you need to present to a doctor to expeditiously exclude life-threatening disorders such as bowel obstruction, mesenteric ischemia, acute pancreatitis, and myocardial infarction.
